what kind of art do you like to make

I like soo many types of art that it becomes hard to focus on one kind. I always enjoy my watercolors but I’ve been drawn into collage and of course there is jewelry, then…… I guess it’s whatever feeds my need at the moment.

where or what is your inspiration for your art

I try to go by the old adage of “create what it is you love”. I admit that I had tried in the past to create what was “in style” or the most “fashionable” images…but that doesn’t work unless you love it. Not loving something shows, so you don’t do your best work.

this answer sometimes changes for me…I’m a huge fan of black, but I’ve got a passion for green as well. The combo of green/purple is just wonderful too!

a travel writer/illustrator….of course that would mean I’d have to travel to all those great exotic places I’d have to write about, right?

if you could go anywhere in the world where would it be

Well…ever since I was a child I wanted to go to Egypt, but I really want to get back to Venice, with my hubby this time.

if you could meet someone famous who would it be and why

Georgia O’Keefe I think. Of everything I’ve ever read/seen, she was a strong woman with an amazing spirit. Wouldn’t it have been wonderful to paint with her!
